tell me why?

I look into the tall trees ,squinting at the sunshine that dazzle my eyes
I look at the squirrels and the birds jumping and flying by
I look at the gurgling stream happily singing and dancing by
I search for your eyes,your lips,your arms and your kiss
I wait for your voice and your call,your dream and my wish
I stare ,I wait ,I fume and I fret
Suddenly it dawns .....oh! but you are not there
you have given me such a scare
why someplace where I cannot follow you?
why so far that my hands don't reach  you?
up above the bright blue sky,up above where the stars sparkle and make you cry
oh why ? tell  me why?
