Dad's Daughter's Birthday....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING DAUGHTER............



That year was a busy one,

I was on the STUDY course,

‘T was your moms’ first experience,

She knew not how you would come....



So when I was about to go to my class,

I had to accomplish many a task.

I requested Mrs K to be ready,

As she would have to accompany.....



Mr F to keep his tyred car ready,

And take my wife, but while driving be steady.

I knew you would come on any day,

So as third and twelfth went away....



All arrangements were made and done,

Any time during the full moon you’d come.

So as I was walking your mom in the ward,

She was in pain and to keep her in humour,


I was laughing, time and again.

So at the hour of nine, when you arrived,

Mrs K came out and congratulated Me.

’Bhiaya, you are now a proud dad’ said she.



How happy I was I could not say,

A girl, ‘twas what I knew and wanted,

To my hearts content, And so did I yell,

This I cannot tell.



Come Dear darling my daughter,

Lovely daughter to me you will be.

So it was so many years gone by,

See how time just does fly by.



For me it’s just like it happened yesterday,

Just as it does happen on any other day

Today it’s your Birthday,

For me it’s like yes, just yesterday.
