Message to all writers.

The following quote is an email message from user Wakko71.
After which I post my reply to this message which could not be kept private due to this user's cowardice in blocking me to prevent a reply.

"You know, you've been here for over 7 months, but have yet to post anything in your port that anyone in this community can review. Instead, you go about critiquing other's work in a harsh manner, handing out crappy ratings as if you are a better writer than them when you have yet to show any of us that you are so much better.

Perhaps you should think about that before you continue slamming other's work. ;)" ~ Wakko71


My reply as follows.

"I did have poems on here, though I removed them due to people stealing them/ taking and rewriting and calling it their own. So I removed my stuff and thought about deleting my account. But then I realized I could still reach out to my fellow writers with tips and advice.
Someone such as yourself I've encountered plenty times before. Be upset all you want that you cannot post a hate review on my writing. You don't have to see any of it to see the pointers I give other writers. You people pretend you want feedback, but I'm beginning to think you really don't.
I also find it funny you consider my reviews harsh. They are constructive. Nothing I wrote in there was demeaning in any sense (and you know it).

I spent a portion of my time reading and reviewing your piece. I did not have to spend any of that time helping you. Even if you do not agree with what was said, please show some respect in the sense that I took time out of my day to give you feedback and advice. You are not entitled to my help, but I offered it to you. Accept or reject is your choice. But do not disrespect me in the process. I gave part of my time to give feedback. Please respect at least that much." ~ Rejection

The reviews I post on this site are meant to be constructive and encourage the writers growth. If you cannot handle honest feedback or well intentioned criticism I suggest you either stop writing or get used to fact that you will never be any more known than you are on this site. Cause you will not be published. Do not waste your breath in shooting bullets at the messengers. They are giving of their time to help you with feedback. If you cannot respect that you have no bussiness asking for any feedback. You are not entitled to their time.

For those of you still learning and growing, happy day and keep on writing.
And to those of you who are truly gifted and talented writers please review and help writers on this site. They need your feedback and advice even if they do not realize it.
