The Great War Chapter 1

  Chapter 1
      The Battle.
     
      I was staring at the mutilated corpse in front  of the cave when i heard something like... a step. I said to my self i must of finally found the beasts lair. I made my way to the entrance of the cave. I stopped for a moment if i should get a torch but i immediately forgot about that because it would warn the dragon. I started walking in the cave for what looked like hours until i reached a huge room like cave. The smell here was unbearable.
      - Get out- a voice behind me said
      I stopped moving at that moment wandering since when was the dragon aware of me. I started considering what to do.
      Then i pulled out The King Protector and right on time to protect my self from a swipe from the dragons paw. I quickly pulled out The Fallen Savior and slashed at where the paw was a moment ago only to hit solid rock. I heard something and i immediately turned with my shield raised just on time to protect from another swipe.
      - You have good hearing human- the voice said.
      I turned around to where the voice came from lunging. My blade hit... what i could only say where dragon scales.
      - Damn then it is true- i mumbled to myself- It is a green dragon.
      The dragon probably had good hearing too because it replied.
      - Oh yes i picked a cave because i was a red dragon. Of course I'm a green dragon.
      I heard the air being cut right on time to move my shield into position to block the paw.
      - And a young green dragon at that- I said
      All of a sudden i heard something that sounded like someone taking a deep breath. I immediately rolled to the left of the spot where i was standing. And just on time to dodge a huge fireball. While the fireball was still flying i was able to see the size of the dragon i was fighting. It was big half the room size. It had three pairs of horns, blade like spikes on its shoulders and going down its spine. It had a huge mace like tail. I also noticed it had a huge injury on its front shoulder.
      - Damn you are one big dragon- I replied after seeing its size.
      Another fireball was spited at me witch i quickly dodged.
      - Stop calling me dragon- The dragon said- I'm a dragones.
      - OK i will remember that for when i stick your head on a pike.
      I had to block a long combo of swipes that would of broken any shield except The King Protector and Stormhammer's Storm Shield.
      - Damn you are too big for me to take on alone- i said. Then i quickly rolled several times until i was aligned exactly with the way out and... Her tail. I quickly started running toward the exit, jumping over her and ducking over her tail. And right when i thought i was going to get away i rather felt then saw the dragons tail hitting the spot above the exit causing a cave in and blocking my way out.
      -NOOO- I yelled- DAMN YOU DRAGON.
      I quickly threw the Protector and Savior to the sides and took The Last Hope. What a good name for a giant chunk of dwarfish steel. And it was actually my last hope.
      I started running towards where the dragons mouth shooed be dodging all the dragons attacks. And then i tripped over a rock falling down. The only thing i was able to do was get my sword before the dragon ate me.
      - AH- the dragon yelled feeling my dwarven broadsword sticking between soft palate.
      - If you start jewing me my sword will go up into your brain- I said.
      - If you push that sword im going to jew you.- The dragon said.
     
      Several hours later we were still in the same positions wandering who would make the first mistake.
      - Ah my mouth is so dry- the dragon said rubbing its tong around my legs. Than i heard the most scary thing that could happen while i was in there.
      - No, No, NO STOP DON'T- I yelled. But it was too little to late. The dragon spited in my face.
      - Sorry.
      - Damn your breath stinks.
      - Well it's not like i eat grass or anything.
      I looked around in the mouth seeing a huge bone stuck between two huge teeth. I wedged it out of there to see that it was a humans arm.
      - Sir Eduard- I threw the arm outside.
      - Thank you. That has been bugging me for ages.
     
      - I can stay awake for 3 days.
      - I can stay awake for 3 weeks.
      - You know i can just pierce your brain and end this.
      - Damn you humans and your hardheadedness.
      She gathered here strength and pushed me out of her mouth with here tong. When i hit the ground i was immediately stepped on by her. I dropped my sword.
      - DAMN YOU- I screamed at her- Common finish it. Kill me.
      - I never really wanted to kill you- The dragones said after fixing her mouth witch was numb from staing for hours like that- All i wanted was to be left alone and to be able to get ready for war with the orc's. Know if you promise to stop acting to hardheaded i will let you go.
      - Ok- I said after a long pause. Staying true to her word she let me go. I quickly went to get my sword's and my shield- What war? I didn't know you dragons where at war with the orc's.
      - There are a lot of things you humans don't know. For a instance your so called war with the Mountain clans was actually with only three of the twelve orc clans.
      That completely stunned me. I had participated in the war of the mountain clans and i new what brutality and numbers the orc's where capable of amassing. But to know that that hole war was with only one forth of the hole actual Horde.
      - Well i cant just let you stay here ruining my peoples crops and stealing there livestock.
      - Well i cant just leave. And any way there are orcs looking for me.
      - WAIT what did you just say??? Did you say there are orcs in MY lands?
      - Yes?
      - Then don't worry about them. We are going to get them with all my solders dragones.
      - STOP CALLING ME THAT HUMAN. I have a name you know.
      - Ok, but only if you start calling me by name too- i said crossing my arm's- My name is Rodny, what is yours.
      - Alextraza hu... Rodny
      - Now that we have that settled with can you open the exit so i can leave Alextraza?
      - Oh forgot about that.
      Alextraza moved towards the exit and broke here way with here paws.
      - Alex, i hope you don't mind me calling you that, i will try and send food whenever i can but Im not promising anything.
      Alextraza didn't say anything so i left into the night.
