The Sounds

The sound of the flag bangin against it's pole at the bank,
dogs barking in a nearby yard,
a car with a broken exhaust driving down the road,
a car horn honking,
the sounds!
hanging from a porch, wind chimes singing,
the wind whistling thru the trees,
leaves blowing in mini tornado style,
the sounds!
seagulls in the air,
waves crashing against the breakwall,
a ship horn blows,
"It's a big one!" hollars a fisherman,
the sounds!
people laughing,
kids playing,
the ice cream truck heard in the distance,
the sounds!
