Does He?

Does he know that he’s the only one
On my mind every second of the day?
Does he care that my heart skips a beat
If I catch even the slightest glimpse of him?
Does he feel for me the way I feel for him?

But is there that chance? That little flicker
That has the power to burst into a huge flame?
I know he’s much older than me, but I can only hope, only pray that one day I will wake up every morning, and go to bed every night
Knowing that he’s there, right beside me

Does he know that though everyone says that I have no chance, that I know that the
Only way we could ever be together is
If I keep believing?
Does he care that I can’t wait for the day
That I will find him down on one knee asking me those four little words
That mean so much to me?
Does he know that I will be waiting for that day my whole life?
