This is an extract from a chapter that I have being writing with the story in progress.
I was confused on what was happening around me as my body was gradually shutting down, I tried to blank out the sharp pain that was in my arm but all I was doing was lying to myself. He was killing me and I knew it although I tried to force myself to believe it as I could feel the air rushing away from my lungs as they were growing drier as I tried to take a breath, but I could get nothing in-the weight was too great and even now I was beginning to lose the fight as all I could hear was his hot heavy breath over my face as I took one long last look at his eyes that were now baring into mine with almost a great look of amazement. I finally let the darkness engulf me as my heavy lids began to shut and the last of my bodies’ internal systems had shut down and I drifted peacefully into an eternal yet tranquil dream.

For a while there was nothing just darkness and my brain was unable to think clearly, I started to realise I was dead until I opened up my heavy eyelids and saw myself open up into a wide open landscape. I could see, high up above a city that I could see far below their lives so full with prospects friendship, children, families that one true soul mate those things that I so longed for. Not knowing whether this was real I walked through the glorious sunshine towards the cliffs edge through some blackberry bushes there fatty insides full to the brim with black-red juices which now had stained part of my shirt as I climbed awkwardly through the thick brambles.
