It is just something that i have started it isn't finished and it is a work in progress
[Introduction]
The sun rose just above the hill as I ducked into the hidden cave and said, “D! Where are you?! I have news!!” Out of the corner of my eye I saw something move so I flipped around towards the thing and lowered myself into a crouch.
“Whoa, Jaz. Don’t attack me you were the one calling me.” I slowly stood up straight and laughed. “Ok, Miss Hunter. What’s the news?” Adrian asked. I sank into the couch in the middle of the room and started the story.
“Ok so I was out wandering last night…”
Adrian interrupted me, “Wait. Why were you wondering around last night?”
I took a deep breathe and mumbled, “I was avoiding Laxton. There are you happy. I admitted it. The point is that I did a lot of thinking and I came up with some things.”
“What kind of things?” A voice said from behind me. I knew that voice by heart. It was Laxton.
Slowly I turned around and exclaimed, “Nothing Laxton. You know that I don’t like it when you eavesdrop on my conversations.” Then I turned towards Adrian and said, “I’ll talk to you later.” She nodded and got up.
Walking away she said, “Jaz, if this has to do with Laxton you might want to tell him.” Then she disappeared. Laxton looked at me and I jumped up off the couch and headed for the kitchen. I needed some comfort food. Laxton cut me off before I got to the door though.
“Jazmen, please just hear me out.” I glared at him but he wouldn’t move. “Please Jazz, J please just listen to me.”
“Why should I Laxton? Why? After you just left me in the woods alone. Not even just inside the trees. All the way in the middle, when I was sick and couldn’t even smell my way back.” Tears started streaming down my face.
“Why should I hear you out? I. . .” I couldn’t talk anymore the tears were flowing too hard. I put my hand on his chest and shoved. He didn’t budge.
“Midnight, listen please.” Laxton used his nickname for me, Midnight. I just shook my head and pulled my hand back. Then someone walked in.
“Jaz, what’s the matter?” I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Destini standing in the door way with Kyler behind her. Slowly they started moving towards me.
“Please just let me through, Laxton.” I whispered, but he didn’t move. Destini got closer. “I don’t want to talk to Dess, so if you aren’t going to move then come with me.” He let me through and followed me down the hall past the kitchen to my room.
When he was in the room I closed the door and said, “Let’s just get this over with.” I turned around and saw tears running down his cheeks. I hadn’t noticed that he had started crying. Even though we were fighting I couldn’t help but want to comfort him. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. “I can’t stand to see you cry Laxton, what’s wrong?”
Laxton put his hand on the back of my head as he was wracked with sobs.
"I...I..." He pulled away from me and walked across the room to look out the window. I was stunned. Laxton use to never pull away when i would hug him.
The remaining tears on my face were joined by a few more and i whimpered, "What were you going to say?" Seeing the tears again on my face he walked back to me and tryed to wipe them away.
"Don't cry! Don't cry! I'm so sorry for everything. I shouldn't have put you through it but please listen to me and i will explain it." I nodded, looking down at the pale tan floor. "Will you sit down?" I nodded again and sat down on his bed, which was suprisingly made.
He took a seat beside me and started, "Ok. First, i want to say that i wasn't myself when i did that to you. Second, i am really sorry and thati should have never done that." He sucked in a sharp breath and started to rub his upper arm.
