My stories are realistic but funny. I promise! Please let me know how you like it.
"Niki! Charlie! Get your little selves down here or we'll leave without you!" My Mom yelled at my sister, Niki, and me from the back door. Niki rolled her bright blue eyes.
"Yea wouldn't that just be awful?" she said rolling her finger down her face like pointing at an imaginary tear. I giggled and replyed.
"I know, Niki! We would just about die!" I accually was excited about going to church and rushed my sister out the door.
"See, Niki? You should learn from your little sister. Look how excited she is to get to church!" my 60 year old dad said patting her head. She gave him a 'How dare you?!' look and atempted to fix it.
"You stay home anyway, Dad." she rubbed his belly. "See you later, Dadio!" she said walking out the door after Mom. I smiled and waved goodbye to Daddy as I closed the door. Today was gonna be the first time I've been back at church since school ended. I've avoided church as much as possible since Hannah and Jessica started all the drama between me and my sister's and my life long childhood friends, the Mutters. There are a lot of Mutters. Nine to be exact. Hannah is the oldest, Trevor's, girlfriend and Jessica is her best friend. Hannah hates the fact that Niki and I have known the Mutters longer than she has. She's the jealous type. So she dicided to tell lies between me and the boys and I avoid all confritation so I quit going, waiting for it to blow over and summer was the perfect time. Its the weekend before the last weekend of Summer.
The entire ride there I was nervous. I havent even spoken to anybody from church except Mom and Niki and they defiantly weren't helping my jittering.
"The boys have changed so much! They are so grown up and handsome! They ask about you all the time, Charlie!" Mom kept saying over and over again.
"Especially Trent and Brandon. I swear those boys love you than they're girlfriends." Niki said everytime Mom would say anything. Great. I've always been the closest to Trent and Brandon. They were my favorite because they are just so fun to be around. Niki always stayed close to Trevor and Grant which is why I don't understand why Hannah would target me instead of Niki. Wait. Did Niki say they have girlfriends now?
"Did you just say they have girlfriends? That's good right?" I asked. I figured those boys would never get girlfriends with how goofy they look. I just hoped Tevor and I could be friends again. Hannah just can't stand me. I prayed she wasn't there.
"We're here, Charlie!" Mom said jumping out off the car after patting Niki's knee. She swung open my door and pretty much yanked me outside. The Mutters lived right next to the church so they could see the entire parking lot. With the way Mom's van was the car door was blocking who was standing by the car but I just knew that the boys were outside staring and seeing three pairs of legs. I heard my name so I walked away from the car. Bad Idea! Dozens of footsteps were running toward me and before I knew it I was tackled to the concrete parking lot.
"Owww..." I moaned as I looked up to see the three youngest Mutters: Tyler, Kayleigh, and Devon. Tyler's small, freckled face was giving me a huge, sweet smile. Kayleigh's messy blonde hair was hanging in her face. Devon, who is just a very mean little kid, had the usual evil grin while he reached for my nose. Every time I see him he attempts to rip off my nose. That's not something I missed. I shoved them off after I relized more people were there. Of course my boys picked me up and dusted me off.
"You ok?" Brandon asked me. I just looked up at him and gave him a hug. "I missed you too, Charles!" He hugged me back. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I let go of Brandon and turned to see Trent with his arms opened.
"I missed you, Charlie..." He said with his puppy-dog face. I started to hug him but he put his head in his hands and acted like he was crying. "You didnt even call, Charlie! Why did you leave me, Charlie, Why?" I couldn't say anything. I put my arm around him and acted like I was crying, too. He peeked from behind his hands at me and my heart dropped. 'Wow.' I thought. 'My Trent is sexy.' The thoughts ended after he hugged me. I saw Trevor and the Grant with Niki and Grant waved but Trevor just stared. Three girls walked up to us: Hannah, Jessica, and Gracie. Hannah walked up to Trevor with Jessica on her tail, kissed him, then noticed me. She just rolled her eyes and grabbed Trevor. She led them, Trevor and Jessica, away. I just giggled and turned to Gracie, who I expected to walk to Brandon because the last time I saw her she was dating Brandon. But no. She waved at Brandon and walked right passed him and kissed Trent on the cheek. Didn't even notice me. Something in me wanted to hit her. I don't know why because she was the only girl I liked at this church other than my sister of course. She saw me and her jaw dropped.
"Charlie!" she screamed as she jumped on me. "God, I missed you! Where have you been?" she pulled away and stared at me with a smile. My love for the girl came back and the urge to hit her left.
"At home. Avoiding liars and drama. What about you?" I asked nodding at Trent and Brandon.
"Oh, well about that... Me and Brandon weren't working out, ya know? And Trent did ask him if he didn't mind." She stepped away from me and grabbed Trent's hand and smiled. When I think something is wrong I make it very clear and everybody knew how I felt bout dating between siblings. That's like cheating on someone with their sibling to me. It took every ounce of energy for me to keep my mouth shut and turn the other cheek and it was very obvious I was trying my hardest. Everything has changed so much since I left. Everything I wanted to stay the same changed and the things I wanted to change didn't even budge. I felt like crying. Niki waved me over to her and Grant. I walked to them.
