I do not recall

The days of endless noise.

I hear silence

Deep within the mist.

Golden entities whisper to me

Singing soft lullabies,

Drowning me in peace.

The world slows down for me

And tranquility sets in.

I am ready to fall

Through endless skies,

Forgetting to spread wings

Wider and brighter than an angel's

Because it does not matter.

I reach out my hand

Stretch it out towards the land

Waiting for impact

Accepting it with grace.

Rushing and spinning and falling

I connect with the world

And think of bright skies.
