Bon Jovi kicks off the O2 Arena! |
On June 25, 2007, Jon Bon Jovi and his band members, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Tico Torres and Hugh McDonald, had the honor to open the brand new, breathtaking O2 Arena in London, England. Three years later, the band kicks off a series of twelve concerts in thirteen nights. On the afternoon of June 7, a few hours before the first concert, Bon Jovi played four songs "We Weren't Born to Follow", "Superman Tonight", "It's my Life" and "You Give Love a Bad Name" on the roof of the spectacular O2! They've written history again by being the first band in history of ock'n'roll with the honor of playing on the roof! Thanks to number of sold out concerts they will have during this summer in London, we can call them the kings of the O2 Arena! The concert hall is big enough for twenty-three thousand people but for rock concerts that number falls down to seventeen thousand fans. It depends on how big the stage is, but it is estimated that about one hundred fifty thousand fans will attend the concerts. You would be really amazed to see fans from six to sixty...literally! Over the years, they've written so many perfect songs, it's shocking how can they be so underrated from the critics! But it's like Jon says, it doesn't matter what they think but what YOU think about them! If you are a fan, your grade for them is, of course, A+. If you haven't had a chance to hear their music before, come to O2 during any of their twelve shows, and you will be impressed how perfect they sound live in concerts! |
