Begin here. Begin walking.
Walking along, my legs bare below the knee and my feet free from their socks and shoes, beside a small creek a foot from the edge. Walking along, alone, where all that is seen of me is what one sees only in passing, at a glance, as I stride calmly beside, in, through, and out of your life, mayhap to return again, mayhap never again but never regardless showing only a part and only but a glimpse of the whole.
Always there is the edge, where I might perchance take a leap as it beckons me to, to try for the barest of moments to fly as a bird before falling into the crashing waves below and let them take me where they will: different places, different lives, different times.
