This poem describes my fears with writing and shows my faults.
Lost in thought
With my direction unclear
I see a shimmering light
Down a path that I fear
My heart says to go
But my feet refuse to move
I need to take the first step
Knowing I have nothing to lose

Words from strangers haunt me
So critical so true
I stand at the beginning
Not knowing what to do

Please shimmering light
Be the words that I need
To take the first step
Towards you to be free
