All I Need is a Rainbow

Rachel was stuck in her crazy life,

of trying to be a good housewife.

Raising the kids and cooking three meals,

Vacuuming and picking up Hot Wheels.

All she wanted was a break from this,

So she prayed to God to grant her wish.

All of a sudden there was a light,

And just like Mary, it caused a fright.

Do not be alarmed, I am your God.

All Rachel could think, Is this a fraud?

But I am God, do you not believe?

There are many gifts you could receive.

Like peace from all the hectic struggle,

And every chore you try to juggle.

Do not leave, but please truly repent,

This is the chance you asked to be sent.

“The only way I will truly know,

is if you'll send me a rainbow.”

And so it appeared there in the sky,

All of this made Rachel want to cry.

And after, no longer did she doubt,

What her religion was all about.

She was rescued in her darkest times,

Even after all of her bad crimes.

I hope this story brings hope to all,

That God will catch you before you fall.
