"Derek, you should have told me from the begining

Our relationship is built on honesty

It is not whether or not I would have believed you;

It is whether or not you told me what you were going through" said Sharon

"I know and I am sorry

We have a great relationship

I thought it was best to only resist her

I did not want the problem to come home

I did not want anything to come between us

I love you, and I love Kayle

Both of you are my life" replied Derek

"When I want something I will do what I have to do to get it;

Even if what I want is wrong

I do not care if he is married

I do not care if I am interrupting an intimate marriage

All I care about is

My wants

My needs

And,

My self

I want Derek and that is all that matters

He does not want me now,

He is just hiding his feelings

I will make him fall in love with me" Lisa thought

Marriage, what is happening?

The characters of the movie Obsessed,

Derek and Sharon did not only love each other,

They were in love with each other

They wanted to be intimate

Sexual intimacy was not enough

Being intimate and become one

He was her friend and she was his

A young lady once asked me,

"Ishmael, what will offer in a relationship?

I replied,

"Intimacy"

A young lady once said to me,

"When you love your boyfriend,

It’s like you care about him

But when you are in love with him,

It’s like he’s the second part of you"

It is not about sex

It is about marriage

The closeness neither would allow anyone to break

It will remind them they are in love with each other

They are intimate with one and another

They will do whatever it takes,

To not let it be demolish

It will heal the damage

And if it remains,

It will continue to fight back

"Until death do us part?"

This vow still stands,

It is still strong

One will not do it

But the willingness of both

How?

The power of intimacy
