My Poem For You

I'm sitting here.
Trying to write a poem for you.
I want to take a break because I can not think straight.
I dont know why the words wont come,
it's taking me so long just to come up with some.

Maybe it's because I love you more than words can say,
or maybe it's just not the right day.
I can not compare you to anyone else I've loved.
You make me smile and laugh like never before.
This feeling is indescribable and I could not ask for more.
My heart jumps, my body goes weak, and I am speechless.
I'm so frustrated because this page is filled with its whiteness,
where are the words that will show you how I feel?
This feeling is so strong but I know they are real.

Although words may not be able to express them,
They are always felt in my heart.
Stuck to me like a dart,
this feeling that only you have given me.
I wish you knew how it felt,
it's starting to make me feel like I'm going to melt.
They are not bad feelings because I love you with all my heart.
I dont know how to say it or where to start,
just know that nothing will tear us apart.

I love your hugs and holding your hands,
when I'm with you, my legs can not stand.
I miss you so much when you're away,
all I want is for you to stay.
Please hold me tight and with all your care.
I will hug you as tight as I can, it's only fair.
Save me from this world,
take me to a place where only we exist.
A place where there is no fog and mist,
with sunshine as warm as your hug,
with grass as soft as your touch,
and only the friendliests bugs.

You are the best thing that has happened to me,
you saved me from sadness and set me free.
I am happiest only when I am with you,
this time I know for sure, that it's true.
No more doubts or "is this real?"
It's safe to say, "This is the real deal".
