War has always affected time
Either through the lives of dying
As they fight for every dime
Or through the living, as they go through life shivering
It affects the families
Relation to soldiers or other
As the love leaves crying
And others say why even bother
It changes the ecosystem
Killing off life
Reaching every house, every tree stem
Creating death and strife
As the population grows
And less die
Shouldn't the death rate flow
And allow their souls to go to the sky
In the Bible
God proclaimed
That none shall kill in his own fable
He seriously exclaimed
War can bring money
The lifeblood of the modern planet
Through oil, wood, and TV that's funney
Creating a utopia. So, can it
War can bring problems
Through sadness as the family put the picture books on the shelf
But wouldn't the answer be
To get rid of science itself
As the veterans finish the physical war
They return back to their life back at home
Even with the mental scar
They still read this poem
And they wonder
"How did things get this far"
