murders, fainted lady
I know who the killer is. I won’t tell Greg about this. Greg won’t spare me if he knows I am hiding the facts. He becomes merciless at the times. Then his hands don’t shiver using his service revolver. I’d seen my few colleagues shot dead by him. To justify these killings he is strong at his paperwork.

This old lady should get up by now .Whatever I saw last night was unbelievable. How one could be so nasty?  Let this lady get up. She is holding the information needed by cops. The forensic team is on its job, collecting the fingerprints, investigating telltale marks, detailing the gun used.

Horrible gunshots to kill these innocents! I feel like vomiting.

I remained there watching the whole investigation process.  The lady fainted seemed okay, was getting the first aid, her eyelashes moved a bit. I curiously waited sitting there. She opened her eyes. Someone ran and covered my view. She could not see my face now.

This lady was typical. A scar on her forehead looked like a bone-shape. I was lucky to work at Officer Greg’s house. These homicides happened at his house. Greg still had the guts to face the situation.

I remember Greg went out last night on duty. He returned back soon with this lady. She hinted something to him. There, I knew, what she told him. A stranger used to visit the bedroom of Greg after he left for his duty.

So Greg went inside. He shot his wife and that stranger. He did not even spare his small children. He killed them. The lady with the scar fainted there till morning, till the other cops came.

Now, you see, Greg kicked me. The other cops did bring me about to search the murderer.  I simply took the shelter of Greg’s legs.

Now…now! Greg is asking me to follow the smell. To find the murderer.  My brain is not working

There are lots of questions in my mind.

‘I should remain loyal to my master.  I ain’t supposed to suggest that my master is the murderer.  But again, my master himself is ordering me to find him. If I don’t, I will be shot dead by him.’

‘Okay. Let me follow the smell then. Let’s see what happens. ‘I thought.

I circled around and went back to Greg. It was his smell obviously.

“Basket! Useless animal!” His hands touched his revolver.

“That’s why I did not let him in the Academy. He doesn’t deserve to be a police dog.”

Save me my lord. Let this lady come around. Wake up lady, let know them the facts.
