It's meant to describe a mother's journey with her child
Baby's Lullaby

Dainty little fingers

Small little toes

You smile and giggle

As my love for you grow

Your first words have been spoken

You walk on little legs

I watch you as you’re growing up

But for these days I will beg

I see you as you graduate

And I shed a little tear

For now you will be leaving soon

And that’s my greatest fear

A mother loves her child dear

That’s why you see them cry

As you fall asleep at night

They  whisper, their  baby’s lullaby
