A direction

Today I get to go see what kind of help is available for me and the direction I'm going in.
I have a clue and am telling myself that I'm not going to settle for Whatever she offers but only what I'm interested in.
I need help finding a way to more than survive.
Today I'm not going to settle for just barely making it.
So I'm proud of myself already.
Hopefully I stick to that plan and don't become a pushover.
I hope I can keep the old feelings at bay.
Remmembering that feelings are not facts.
So today if she has an idea, I will listen
But only understanding that I have a direction and that only I can change that
I am responsible for which way I go
So today I will choose my direction
