So Hard to Believe

So hard to believe its dead...
         Everything that we had said.
So many promises made...
         We thought would never fade.
Roses were given, the color of peach...
         Wither on the ground, out of reach.
Silhoutte lips dance before my eyes...
         Whispered love and whispered lies.
Remembering long nights, our hands entwined.
         Now arms are holding you that are not mine.
Never felt this depth of pain before...
         So hard to believe we are no more.
