A Zephyr's Kiss

She breathes - azure mist - a Zephyr's kiss.
Her rhythm cascades in hypnotic crescendo
And I am transfixed

She is a jewel - faceted in perfection.
Refracting light in generous abundance
And I am awed

Her bounty cannot be bartered - she is wed.
Veiled in splendor she falters in my caress
And I am stunned

Where lies the legato - a moment past?
Celibate she stands withholding favors
And I am broken

Beyond volition she begs a reprieve - requiem refused.
She wears humility, an ill fitting gown
And I am humbled

Oh pray the mistral benevolent be - the Siren slumbers.
"Nereids- a gossamer gown", the master whispers
And I am hushed

Iliad lie down - Thetis crests a mighty swell -
She is renewed - her cadence restored
And I am whole

Azure mist -  a Zephyr's kiss - she breathes once more
The Sea  -  Adagio  -    Bravo!
And I am blessed
