Hello Little Mother, Your life is ever changed
Now you have a precious son, beautiful and small,
Enjoy each day for each is precious, do not rush it past
Take the time to see each miracle, clinging to them all.

Hello Little Mother, hold your darling's hand
Teach about his Heavenly Father, tell him of His love,
Making him so perfectly, the brother of His Son,
How He'll always watch out for him,  from heaven far above.

Tell him about his earthly Father, always there to guide,
Teaching him to be man,  of honor, strength and pride.
Loving him with all his heart and knowing he will be
The loving son his Mom and Dad have pictured him to be
 
Hello Little Mother, your job is long and hard sometimes
But everything is all so worth, the effort and the time
For watching your own flesh and blood, grow to be a man
Will be all so rewarding, the feeling so sublime.

And when you are a Grandmother, you'll know the true reward
As precious little ones are born, and slowly grow each day
Those precious little grandchildren, will reflect your work and time
you spent on their own Daddy, while he lived to love and play

Bless you Little Mother, today and all days hence
Know you're the only loving mother this son will have
Bring to him the love of life and take him in your heart
