My Two Guiding Lights

The three of us, we made our vow
to be friends forever, sealed with a bow

Through the stormy days,
And stormy nights,
You two were always there
to be my guiding lights

When a river need be crossed,
You were there
When a mountain need be climbed
You were there
But now that my heart needs you,
you are no where

Look me in the eye, and tell me this;

"We will be friends forever!"

But something is a miss..
Your eyes, their different
What happened to the shine I saw way back then?
I want to meet those eyes again....but when?

A stormy day, and a cold night passes...
My heart turns grey and cold...
No where even near gold

My two guiding lights they disappeared
My words can not reach them,
No matter how hard I scream or yell,
I am like the frog at the bottom of the well

Only hoping for the sky,
But...why...?
I wait and wait, but still no one came...
Was this my fault? am I the one to blame?

The vows, were just words...empty words with no meaning...
That day...will we we ever again have our meeting...?
