The hurt, the pain I feel wont hide,
Its stinging and burning on the inside.
Your distant, you run each confrontation,
You lie and never give me an explanation.
Your nasty, cruel you've grown selfish and cold,
The shadow im living in is now getting old.
Behind you I have stood begging for attention,
Its about you, always you I dont get a mention.
Im learning to hate and resent all I have done,
Because of me it is that two became one.
I stand tall I am brave and I can take a lot,
I'm sure you loved me once and now you have forgot.
I continue to love you with all your faults and mistakes,
I'll always be here for you for how long it takes.
I'm hanging on to a simple touch of hope,
I am not going anywhere theres no end on my rope.
I took vows and stuck to my promise I made you,
I am praying it'll be ok and I hope you are too.
I dont know how long our journey will take,
