My Beautiful Mother

Mom, God took you away too soon,
My heart was struck by a harpoon.
My heart yearns for you everyday,
There's so much I wanted to say.

I didn't get enough time to spend with you,
Which really made me truly blue.
I can still see your beautiful smile in my head
Every night as I lay myself down to bed.

I can still see your face plain as day,
So when I see you, I always pray.
I pray to God I will see you soon,
If only by looking at the moon.

You always would put us kids first,
I'm so proud my heart could just burst.
You were the gentlest of souls,
You helped us kids fulfill our goals.

I'm so proud that you were my mother,
I would not have wanted another.
No one can replace the things you've done,
You made everything for us so much fun.

I know you were heaven sent, you just had to be,
Everyone who knew you cannot disagree.
You had a heart of gold,
That sure was something to behold.

You are eternally in my heart,
By this I know we can never part.
I know that you are in "Gods" hands,
So I know I can not make any demands.

I miss the unconditional love you gave,
Everyday this is the thing I most crave.
I know I will see you again someday,
Until then all I can do is pray.

Mom, Rest in Peace now!! You are now up in Heaven with God and Dad!! I knew how lonely you were for Dad, now you are reunited which gives me much peace!! Miss and Love You; Forever In My Heart And Memory You Will Stay!!!
