To a brother that I knew a little while.
Unfortunate circumstances brought us together,
yet we were able to smile.

Neither of us could have possibly known
what awaited us on the road ahead.  Therefore,
we lived in the moment and focused on each other
instead.

This very slip of paper is something that
he shared inasmuch as I hadn’t any which he
showed he cared.

This brother was going away for quite a long
time only because he did what he thought was
best in his own state of mind.

I am sure today he is many miles away doing
his Federal time. However, wherever he is and
whatever he’s doing, he is still a friend of mine.
