Vision Faux Darkness

VISION FAUX DARKNESS


The depth of the thoughts circulating my mind
Have the effect of causing me apprehension
At times. 

Upon examining these visions that
I see, quite literally, they do frighten me.

I have decided to change the direction and face
My fear so that I can step in a new direction
Even shedding tears. 

Faux darkness has had
Its effect on me literally, yet simply because
I did not permit light to shine on me.

I sacrificed light in place of gloom, darkness
Moreover, pain.  Assigning all for me to blame.

Preferring the rain and thunderous skies rather
Than allowing sunlight to dominate my eyes.

I barricaded myself in a very dark place not
Permitting sunlight to reach my face.

The days of mental darkness have had its reign.

My heart now rejoices, and I suffer no pain.
The darkness I envisioned was a creation of
My own mind. 

Now light is here and it doth
SHINE.
