“Witchcraft is a form you can be killed form not form it being dangerous but not understood” jades mother had always said. Jade refused to listen to her though she always had to hide it because if it got out it would ruin her. Jade had long jet black hair, angled eye brows, light pink lips, and a pale white face; she wears dark colored dresses and always wears armor underneath seeing as she is also a warrior.

Jade groans as yet her attack yet failed. Jade attempts the attack on a harmless dummy (a wooden figure) and groans yet again as the fire blades fall a couple feet away, jade stamps her feet in anger and growls. She closes her eyes and sits down. “what give up already, I never knew you to give up quickly, oh and by the way jade if you attempt to use an elemental attack you need to have your mind clear but I can see that you are worried about something do you wish to talk about it?” jade glances behind her and sees her best friend carassa looking at her and jade says “sure how about I was reading some letters from my cousin as it turns out my mom is alive but, she hasn’t came to see me hasn’t left a message no nothing she runs away and don’t give me a reason, fakes a death and then when I find out she is alive she won’t contact me!” carassa sighs “ jade your mom was in bad stuff she left you to save you she hasn’t done it to hurt you ,you know you’re the only hope for VEROS your real home you can’t get yourself killed!” jade sighs knowing she is saying the truth and glances at carassa jade lays her head on Carassa’s shoulder.

Carassa is jades protector jade doesn’t know this and carassa doesn’t feel like telling that to jade she had become too close to jade to tell her. Carassa had long silver-white hair, pale silver eyes, a pale white face, and an angled face. Carassa wears short shirts, long skirts with boots. Carassa is a lycan (vampire and were-wolf) and is usually hated by many people jade was the only one who had accepted her for who she was. Carassa closes her eyes and she goes back to when she first saw jade. Jade had been sitting by the pool looking upset carassa had walked over to her to see what was wrong like carassa she was treated wrong and treated like a monster. Jade has a certain demon in her she has an ice demon no matter what she can’t be awakened or the world would be in great danger.

“Carassa…..carassa” jades shouts she hits carassa softly trying to get her to answer her. Carassa jerks up and says “what is it jade?” jade blinks at her “I was just wondering if you would tell me about my mom and dad how they meet and how they looked” jade looked at carassa intently. Carassa sighs “your mom crystal she was a princess and your day soubi was a prince their marriage was a pre- determined marriage and they never really liked each other but when you came along they decided to be nice, loving and caring your mother named you jade because she loved jade your father never liked the name thought of it as bad but he didn’t tell your mother, your mother always talked about showing you witch-craft but he forbid it’’ jade looked at carassa “ how did mom look carassa” carassa blinks then says “ your mother had the most beautiful eyes dark green with blue speckles, long eye lashes, a delicate facial structure, her skin was pale with high eye brows , and light brown hair.” Jade sighs she sounds very, very pretty she thinks.

Down in the land of verso a war is starting. Plumes of smoke are sitting in the sky as the earth quakes for numerous of attacks. The children all run to the cave that will protect them from being hurt or attacked in any way. As they get there a huge warrior steps forward gripping a female warrior he growls and says “where is your savior jade of verso “the female says “I do not know and if I did I wouldn’t tell you” the other warrior becomes distracted as a huge creature with wings of fire, eyes of sulfur, the body of a huge horse with scales of a dragon, the wings of a dragon with grey feathers on it. The horse monster rears up on his hind legs and growls charging forward to protect one of his own owners he kicks the male warrior down flapping his wings he raises in that air and roars loudly. The female shouts quickly” this way kids we haven’t that time to waste.” The kids fallow the female over the rough, rocky terrain while the monster-horse fights the male warrior, twisted trees raise and huge vines grow out of the ground wrapping around the female warrior’s waist. The kids scatter is terror and hide as the female struggles to get away.” Well, well, well look who we have here my very own sister carana.” Carana growls and hisses in anger and snarls” carissina why do this? Why betray your own people? What have we done to you?” Carissina walks around and hisses “everything I mean when I wanted to do was to create a new breed of creatures to make own environment more livable and what do I get a remark about how stupid I am and how the plan would backfire and all this stuff they made me seem to be the evil one, well I’m not about to take no more of it I’m going to prove the people who made me seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about pay for their remarks !” the whole time she had been talking her pale face began to get darker, her eyes narrowed and her green eyes flash angrily, her nails clench at her side as she paces. Carana hesitates then says “well the creatures you wanted to fuse together were a rather terrible idea I mean think about if both of the creature though and acted upon it then it would be terrible…….” She stopped mid-sentence due to the fact that carissina was glaring at her.

BACK IN THE OTHER WORLD

Carassa clenches her teeth a bad vibe was in the air she glances at jade and says “jade I must go I need you to continue to train or else your attempt to save your country will fail verso needs a strong leader and you haven’t reached that level yet” she reaches over and squeezes jade’s hand softly then jumps up. She runs away and as soon as she reaches the woods she closes her eyes as she does her body forms into a delicate shape of a cat-human with huge wings at the shoulder a long slender but powerful scorpion tail and sharp claws. Carassa glances behind once before she opens a portal to verso saying this may be my last time on earth with jade my beautiful jade I hope I can save some people. Carana is still trapped and trying to stall carissina knowing carassa her older sister and true sister was coming because she knew something was wrong in verso “carissina you know you can’t get away with this not only do I have a sister coming but I have a boy-friend shade he won’t let you hurt me and get away think of your life are we worth you losing your life for some petty revenge I know your better than this!” carissina growls and says your such a bother I would kill you but we need you so I can’t” at the same time while carissina is talking shade a powerful creature who is made from the shadows comes charging form his cage, roaring in anger feeling like something is wrong searches throughout that kingdom of verso while carassa searches too. carassa and shade both too busy to pay attention runs head-long into each other both shout “ watch where you’re going “ carassa looks up and starts to say something then stops backing away in fear saying “ your of the shadow people, what are you doing here “pulling out a katana she glares at him “get form verso or else.” Shade raises his hand and says in a soft but firm voice “I came here not to hurt your people but to find Carana I feel as though she is in trouble but yet I have no idea where she is I care for her more than you can imagine can you help me find her I need to know where she is “his eyes gleams with tears as he looks at carassa. Carana lowers the weapon and says “I shall find my sister with you but shall you attempt in any way to hurt me or she and you will be dead faster than you can say help you got that” she snarls to him and he nods.

Jade watches where carana just ran off too and though about what she said. Jade clears her mind then standing in a fighting stance she sends out a crescent moon shape fire beam and it cuts the dummy clear in half and jade looks happy, again she tries with the same result. Jade smiles “ well verso will soon be saved I shall go there in several weeks after I can do this without thinking and I will save my people I am their savior their only hope I will just need to be careful of the shadow people”

The shadow people are a race of creatures who was brought forth by revenge, spite, hate and anger. They came from the shade and can take the form of anyone and everything. These being are responsible for the disappearance or death of any where living near them for like the human the shadow people are plagues with a powerful feeling envy. The shadow people want to be able to walk out in the sunlight to be able to be free of what curse they had been giving but feeling as if they can’t be free of it no one deserves the right to feel that freedom so to help their envy they kill the ones unlucky enough to wander into their territory .shade the new leader to them has been trying to work out the problem with no answer and has fallen in love with a fallen angel Carana. Her eyes are as dark as the night but her face is pale white, with golden hair and wings as white as snow.

The fallen angels are yet another type of creature to be made but this was by love but love tainted by evil wants such as desire and lust. The fallen angels are one of the most deadly types of creatures yet by look they are beautiful but in battle they are gruesome they are strong and violent but they like other creatures can fall in love and when they do their evilness is taken away for the time being they are more powerful than the shadow people. The fallen angels yet was the last to be made but are feared more than ever the fallen angels are kept in cages guarded by the angels and are under no circumstances let out for the result in that could lead to a deadly consequence.

Shade and carassa race through the village coming across a hurt demonic horse with a warrior laying close to him dead carana glances at the creature sadly and lays a hand on its heavy side as he struggles for breath the horse gives a weak neigh before laying his head down and breathing his last breath. Shade looks at that beast and says with no feeling “we must continue to look for my love she could be getting hurt as we speak” carassa nods and stands up both her and shade begins to race though the trees, shade moves through the trees fast as he could while carassa less experienced gets scratched up by the branches, and bushes. Shade turns and rolls his eyes he runs to carassa and yanks her up and begins to run back down to where Carana and carissina are both arguing, carissina growls loudly saying “ no one will rescue you they don’t know your missing yet and will never know your missing” she walks to carissina and grabs her just as shade and carassa walks into the clearing and shade says in a quiet and dark voice” if you lay a hand on my dear carana then I shall make you pay for it, your nothing to her she could have had you beat but she has a job and that was to take care of the children , my group the shadow people now have them and are shielding them until she is free and that time is NOW’ carissina laughs loudly and says” why should I do as you say what can scare me enough to give her up she knows where jade is I’ve spent my life planning on how to defeat her and I will .”



Back in the other world

Jade is heading to school, like always two girls walk up to her and starts teasing her. Always calling her witch and being rude “ so jade where is that freak friend of yours or did she leave you because she realized you were a useless fool I mean I bet she had just been acting because she knew you needed a friend and was just being nice to you.” Jade grimaces and says “look I know carassa and she would never trick me never ever, ever and if you don’t mind I need to get to school now I have something I need to do” jade begins to walk faster hoping that it would get the two girls to leave her alone and it worked because they started chatting to each other not even looking at jade

Back in veros

In carissina’s cave one of her most valuable creatures were roaring in their cages. The creatures looks as though they come from someone’s nightmare standing over 15 feet tall, with huge talons and teeth as sharp as steak knives, huge spikes of bones sticking from its neck down to the tail ending at the tip of the tail in a scorpion shape, from their upper leg down to their ankle huge spikes formed along their leg a circle of huge spikes again forming. The creatures have small arms but muscle that at every movement it ripples the creatures also have huge wings a wing span of 6 feet. In total carissina had managed to breed more than 50 of the beasts. Carissina also created a another type of beast the beast has the body of horse, with the huge claws of a eagle, and the huge wings of a large dragon, these monsters were once again fighting each other well the males at least the females were crouched over the young to protect them the females roar making carissina look up she looks at the direction of her cave and she hesitates looking at carassa then looks toward her cave. The sound of her creatures finally win her over and she throws carassa down. Carassa skids on the ground landing a couple of feet away from shade. Shade growls angrily as carissina runs off toward her cave. Shade kneels on the ground and touches Carissa’s shoulder weakly saying “Carissa are you okay…. Carissa?” Carissa staring toward where she went Carissa glances at shade and says “yes I’m fine how did you know where to find me and why did you come here carassa you’re... you’re supposed to be protecting jade from any danger why …..oh why did you come here sister” Carassa flaps her wings softly and says “ I was worried about you” Carissa sighs and groans then says “ where are the kids shade” shade smiles and says they are in my caves with my family and they won’t hurt the kids either” shade says shooting a look at carassa angrily. Carassa blushes and looks away mumbling “sorry.” Shade rolls his eyes and looks away he wraps his arms around Carissa’s shoulder and buries his head in her shoulder softly



BACK IN THE OTHER WORLD

JADE SITS IN HER CLASS HER MIND DRIFTING TO VEROS, SHE REMBERED THE TIME WHEN IT WASN’T WAR. HER MOTHER CRYSTAL HAD OFFENEDED SOME GIRL WHO WANTED TO USE A BUNCH OF CREATURES WHO HAD BEEN BREEDED BY DIFFERENT CREATURES. HER MOTHER TOLD HER NO IT WAS TOO DANGORUS FOR IT TO HAPPEN AND THE GIRL CLAMED SHE’D GET HER BACK AND IF NOT CRYSTAL SHE’D GET HER. HER MOTHER IN ANGER HAD BANISHED THE GIRL , WHO DIDN’T TAKE IT TO WELL INSTEAD SHE HAD STARTED TO ILLIGALY BREDD THEM ANYONE WHO DARED TELL HER NO ENDED UP DIYING FROM HER UNSTOPABLE RAGE. THE KINGDOM OF VEROS WAS A LUSH, BEAUTIFUL KINGDOM THIERE WAS RARLEY A WAR BECAUSE EVERYONE LOVED THEM. THEY HAD MOUNTIANS SOROUNDING THREE PARTS OF IT AND A HUGE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN ON THE OTHERSIDE; THEY HAD NOMORUS LAKES INSIDE IT. JADE SIGHS DESPRETLY WANTING TO GO BACK HOME, BUT KNOWING THAT IF SHE DID SHE’D BE IN TROUBLE AND SHE’D LEAD HER OWN PEOPLE INTO TROUBLE. “JADE!?......... JADE?!!!!!!!! ANSWER ME ARE YOU FEELING OKAY” THE TEACHER SAYS BENDING CLOSE TO HER TO HEAR HER ANSWER AS SHE SAYS “I’M FINE I MISS BY BFF”

BACK IN VEROS

CARISSA GLANCES AT SHADE AND SIGHS “CAN YOU TAKE ME TO YOUR CAVE I NEED TO CHECK ON THE KIDS” SHADE NODDS AND STANDS UP HOLDING HIS HAND OUT TO HELP HER UP. CARISSA TAKES HIS HAND AND ALLOWS HIM TO PULL HER UP. SHE LEANS ON HIM TIREDLY, HE GRINS AT HER AND SAYS SOFTLY “ YOU DID GREAT CARISSA YOU’D BE A GOOD SHADOW PERSON SUCKS YOU’RE A FALLEN ANGEL I THINK YOU’D BE A GREAT shadow person sadly you’re not and our different races could put us in a terrible position for love ” HE LOOKS AWAY AS THE GET CLOSER TO HIS TERRITORY AND HE GLANCES AT HER. A BIRD TAKES FORM AND A FEMALE VOICE ISSUES FORM IT “ YOU DARE BRING A HUMAN GIRL TO OUR HOME, HOW COULD YOU I TRUSTED YOU AND YOU PULL THIS STUNT ON US “ she screams loudly. Shade glances at her and says sister calm down this is Carissa my fallen angel remember I told you about her the female calms down and nods before jumping away and forming her raven black hair falling down her back, with a long jade green dress and a black over coat on. Shade grins “Sheba still can’t trust who I care about can you” he says mockingly. Sheba snarls at shade and says “some of your choices are poor and I can’t let you make huge mistakes can you trust a fallen angel aren’t they more evil than us how can you put you trust in a fallen angel no offence Carissa” Carissa stare from shade to Sheba and mumbles” none taken.” Shade glances at Sheba and says “look she some choices of mine was messed up but I trust her why can’t you trust her and I know you care about our people but sometimes you need to let me take care of things so please don’t bother me again with this I have to bring her to the kids we rescued now Sheba” Sheba looks at them both and backs away and slowly fades into the shadows still snarling at Carissa

In the caves of the shadow people the young children are looking around unsure of them as the shadow people await shade their leader. One of the kids gets brave enough to approach one of them. The young girl pulls on a female shadow persons shirt and say “ ma’am why are we here are you going to hurt us because a lot of people say you will” the female glances at her then says “ no honey we will not hurt you we saved y’all because we didn’t have to heart to let y’all be killed we aren’t evil well I guess we are but we’d never hurt a child” the little girl smiles and hugs the shadow person before running off and laying down the other kids stare at the little girl shocked by what she did then they all sit down unsure of what to do.

Back in the other world

As jade switches her class a sudden vision comes to mind. Falling to the ground as she sees it. At first it’s just the figure of her standing back to back with another girl who had huge bat like wings, both holding huge weapons. As the light hits the other girl jade gasps because not only was it someone she knew this person was her own best friend carassa. Jade is socked was carassa not her friend was she just to watch over her and what was with the wings was she not human was she faking everything jade couldn’t believe it questions and fears racing in her head as she sees this, her vision turns red as she hits the ground and the kids in the hall screaming for help. A teacher shakes her shoulder but has no effect on jade, who is semi-conscious. Her mind feels as though it is fighting to leave her body but she is forcing it to stay.

Jade awakens in the nurse’s room. She rubs her head where a huge bump is and she groans. Her vision is blurry and the nurse rushes in forcing her to lie back down she presses something to her forehead to ease the pain. Jade closes her eyes and sees a beast and she jerks up and looks around. These visions of hers were become worse and worse she knew she needed to get stronger and save her kingdom of veros from the evil clutches. Not know another kind of creature was being breed she falls into un-conscious.

Fall of veros

As the war continued carissina creatures began to get vicious killing or doing whatever was necessary to defeat the Veros’s warriors as the warriors fell carissina walks through the town smiling grabbing one of the royal protectors for the queen of veros. The protector reacts by biting into carissina wrist. Carissina gives a howl of rage and pain and she throws her down hard. The young protector jumps up pulling out a kunai just as a huge horse creature with claws of a lion and wings of a dragon and a long slender scorpion tail comes running into the clearing he roars seeing the protector pulling out the kunai runs forward his tail hitting the female sharply in her stomach sending her crashing against a tree. The tree its self falls from the impact and lands on her the sharp branch pierces her leg making her scream. Carissina reaches down and pulls off the tree with the help of her creature she presses her hand down on the protectors chest forcing her down she growls “I wasn’t wanting you to get hurt and now look at what you did you made my creature mad enough to do this to you” using her free hand she cuts the young girls skirt to show the long, deep wound and she begins to cleanse the wound after words she pulls the bandages tightly around the girls bleeding, throbbing gash. The girl hisses “what do you want.” Carissina glances at her “I want her, I want this village, this kingdom I want everyone bowing before me” carissina glazes at the young girl and her hard eyes soften” you remind me of my kid, oh she was a young, pretty, smart, and strong girl you have the spirit in you that she had in her” then her eyes became darker and she yanked her up hard. The girl gives a weak whimper as carissina begins to drag her through the forest and she attempts to pull herself out just to be thrown against a tree. Carissina approaches the girls and says” give it up I won’t let you get away’’ the girl whimpers again as carissina presses her foot against her shoulder carissina glances at her then kicks her hard enough to knock her out. The girls catches glimpse of Carissina’s foot heading to meet her head. She raises her hands to avoid the blow but was too late.



CALLIE SLOWLY BLINKS, HER VISION WAS BLURRY. WHEN HER VISION IS GOOD ENOUGH TO SEE SHE LOOKS AROUND AND SEES CAGES WITH BEAST IN IT NOT THE USSALY BEAST BUT MULTI BREEDED BEAST, ONCE THAT LOOKED WORST THAN THE ONES THAT ATTACKED THE VILLAGE. THE CAVE WAS LINED WITH MULTIBLE COLORED CANDELS. HUGE SYMBOLS HUNG OVER THE WALLS, MULTIPLE TYPES OF WEAPONS HUNG FROM THE WALLS AND BONES OF DEAD CREATURES REASTED IN ONE CORNER OF THE ROOM. CALLIE STANDS UP AND STARTS WALKING BUT A WIRED NOISE LIKE A CHAIN BEING DRAGGED MADE HER LOOK BACK JUST AS THE CHAINS THAT WERE ATTACHED TO HER PULLS HER BACK. CALLIE NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO SITS DOWN, PULLING HER KNEES TO HER CHEST SHE BEGINS TO SOB. SUDDENLY SHE HEARS THE SOUND OF CARISSINA COMING IN. CARISSINA SMILES SAYING”CALLIE GUESS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE MY FIRST EXPIREMENT AND I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY YOU WON’T GET HURT THAT……. BAD” SHE SAYS THEN LOOKS AT HER PULLING OUT A KEY SHE UNLOCKS THE SHACKLES HOLDING CALLIE AND GLANCES AT HER. CALLIE GLANCES AT HER “WHY WOULD I DO THAT” CARISSINA GLANCES AT HER AND SAYS “BECAUSE SHE IS MAKING YOU WORK FOR HER I KNOW YOU WANT TO BE OUT THERE DOING YOUR OWN THING NOT PROTECTING HER NOT STAYING AT THIS VILLAGE, YOU ARE LIKE ME YOU’D RATHER BE CREATING NEW THINGS TO PROTECT THE VILLAGE, BUT YOU SAW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND DECIDED NOT TO DO IT SMART GIRL” SHE SAYS IN A AFTER THOUGH. CALLIE NODDS AND SLOWLY THINKS ABOUT WHAT CARISSINA SAID SHE DID WANT TO GET BACK AT JADE FOR FORCING HER TO WORK FOR HER TO PROTECT HER” BUT I’D BE LIKE A PAWN AND I HATE THAT CARISSINA I’D DIE FOR YOU JUST AS I DO FOR JADE” CARISSINA GLANCES AT CALLIE “ CALLIE I TREAT MY PEOPLE BETTER IF I CAN FEEL THAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO BE KILLED ARE ,ARE IN TOO MUCH PAIN THEN I WILL GO OUT TO SAVE YOU” CALLIE THINKS SHE KNEW JADES WEAKNESS AND STRENGH SHE COULD PUT JADE DOWN FOR GOOD BUT WAS IT WORTH IT? SHOULD SHE DO IT SHOULD SHE SAYS YES LIKE SHE WANTED TO? CALLIE LOOKS UP INTO CARISSINA’S FACE GLOWING WITH EXITMENT CALLIE SMILES AND SAYS “OF COURSE I’LL DO IT I WILL HELP YOU BRING HER DOWN SHE DESERVES IT” CARISSINA SMILES THEN SAYS “I’LL NEED YOU TO SIT ON THAT BED WHILE I PREP YOU FOR THE EXPIREMENT”



CALLIE LIES ON THE BED WHILE CARISSINA BEGINS TO NUMB HER SKIN. CARISSINA THINKS ABOUT WHAT SHE WANTS TO INFUSE IN CALLIE. SHE THINKS ABOUT CALLIE AND HER PERSONALITY. WELL SHE WANTS FREEDOM AND WITH THAT THOUGH SHE GRABS HER BIRD BLOOD. SHE IS ALSO VERY SMART AND WITH THAT IN MIND SHE REACHES OUT AND TAKES THE BLOOD OF A TIGER DOWN “A VERY SMART CREATURE THE TIGER IS SHE SAYS QUEITLY”. SHE IS DEFENITLY POSINUS WITH ENVY AND RAGE SHE THINKS AND LASTLY SHE PULLS OUT THE BLOOD OF SCORPION FROM HER CABNENT. CARISSINA SAYS “OKAY CALLIE IT’S ALMOST TIME” CALLIE NODDS QUEITLY. CARISSINA GOSE TO HER POT AND SLOWLY DUMPS ALL OF THE BLOOD SAMPLES INTO THE POT WHILE CALLIE IS NOT LOOKING SHE SLOWLY CUTS HER UPPER ARM ALLOWING SOME OF HER BLOOD TO DRIP INTO THE POT. SHE WALKS TO CALLIE AND SMILES AT HER CALLIE GLANCES UP AND MUMBLES “WILL IT HURT CARISSINA” CARISSINA SMILES AND SAYS “MAYBE ALITTLE AT FIRST BUT AFTER WORD IT WON’T “. SHE GLANCES AT THE POT OF BLOOD AS IT STARTS TO BOIL SHE WALKS OVER TO IT MIXING IT WELL THEN TAKING A SMALL KNIFE AND A NEEDLE SHE WALKS UP TO CALLIE CUTTING A SMALL CUT INTO HER SKIN SHE PRESSES THE TIP OF THE NEEDLE IN IT. SHE GLANCES AT CALLIE AND SMILES” IT’S ALMOST OVER”



CALLIE FAINTS AGAIN, BUT WHEN SHE WAKES SHE DOESN’T FEEL GOOD SHE FEELS SICK TO HER STOMACH. SHE GIVES AN ANIMAL LIKE RAOR AS A PAINFUL FEELING COMES TO HER SHOULDER, HER HANDS, AND HER LOWER BACK. SHE BEGINS TO BREATH HARD AS SHE GLANCES AT HER HANDS AND SEES CLAWS BEGINNING TO FORM BLOOD STARTS TO COAT HER HANDS BUT HER PAIN IN HER HANDS ARE FORGOTTEN AS THE SKIN ON HER SHOULDERS BEGINS TO STREATCH AND TEAR, THE TENDONS AND MUSCLES GIVE AWAY AS HUGE WINGS OF PURE WHITE WITH STREAKS OF HER BLOOD STREATCHES OUT AND HER LOWER BACK’S SKIN IS RIPED AWAY AS A SCORPOINS TAIL APEARS. CALLIE GIVES ANOTHER ROAR OF PAIN AS THESE NEW PARTS TO HER BODY CONTINUE TO GROW. HER DARK GREEN EYES BEGIN TO NARROW AND THE GREEN FADES AND THE YELLOW SEEPS INTO THEM.
