WHAT HAPPENS....

WHAT HAPPENS.....

What happens to the sensitive heart
that can easily be broken apart
into a million crystalline pieces
what happens when that heart ceases?
What happens when you care
about someone who is just not there
someone whose heart has been bruised
to the point where it is of no use
to try to show a gentler way
to a better and brighter day.
What happens to that soul
that attains to reach that perfect plateau
and tries to show that only love can win,
does it try to reach that goal again and again?
Or does it dry up and blow away
Or stand firm and say that love is here to stay?
