Angel on Earth

There was an angel

That left me in awe.

With emotions unanswered,

And a heart that felt raw.

She had eyes that were jewels

And a face that calmed the sea.

Only she could make me feel

As though my soul could be free.

I can see that she is only here

To make people feel right.

She is a glowing star of hope,

A star that will always burn bright.

In conclusion, I know she's reading this,

And wondering if I have any worth.

Perhaps I will gain the courage

To tell her I'm in love

With an Angel of Earth.
