My agony, can you feel it?
What about what’s hurting me?
Not even the weight of what’s holding me?
Of course not.
Why would you?
Pain and anger is all you know.
Happiness left you long ago.
Gone too from me just when you walked in.
Your anger burns my flesh, melting from the core.
You said you loved me once, but that was after all the screams.
You said you’d never leave, but that was after my sorrowed cry.
And you said you’d always be there, but then why am I alone?
Now you want a return to the way I burned.
Well I refuse to give in again.
I have begun anew starting without you.
