Solace of the seasons,
may come with rhymes or reasons,
To make you laugh,
To make you cry,
The solace of the seasons,

To see a friend of old,
To be loved and not just told,
the earth goes round,
And still you've found,
The feelings growing cold,

Rays of light they see,
The way you feel, and be,
You try to hide,
Or ne'er confide,
The thoughts you wish were free,

You melt within your love,
Gazing at the sun above,
The rain falls down,
but still you've found
The one you're dreaming of,

Alas, it is the fall,
of sadness that is all,
You feel it fade,
to a lighter shade,
as the clouds begin to crawl,

You see now, all the reasons,
for the rise, and fall of heart,
And appreciate the solace of seasons,
For all its every part....
