First Date

I looked around, my stomach felt bubbly, like I had a million and one butterflies floating around inside of me, I couldn’t contain my smile, every time I thought of what was going to happen, I would almost burst.
I continuously giggled, over and over as I saw your face in my mind, our first date, I just couldn’t wait.
I had fantasised this moment a thousand times over in my head. In one, we kissed in the rain, another, we were just having fun, another, I’d rather not say.
But no matter what I did, I couldn’t keep my feelings bottled up, I kept trying on random clothes, seeing what you would like better, but every time I tried to think about you, I almost cried while laughing and smiling.
I looked at the text you sent me, and I almost screamed in happiness.
“Hey beautiful, looking forward to tonight, can’t wait,” I had read it over and over again, imagining your face as you said it, but it made me even more nervous, but I still couldn’t stop smiling.
As the door bell rang, I giggled and ran around, I answered the door, and there you were, we kissed, just like I imagined it, when it was over, my smile was larger, my stomach felt like it was going to pop, my heart melting, my excitement burst out as I hugged you for a minute, I heard your heartbeat, and mine raced even more.
