circa 1993, not one of my best, but a quickie in math class before homecoming.
I'm crossing a bridge,
that I thought I burned.
And how can I walk,
in a world that I don't know?

My eyes behold the vastness,
that I was to much in love to see.
It is a lonely life,
But I must face it now.

I went to a dance,
and she sat in the corner.
She just looked around,
half crying on her dress.

I walked over,
To extend my hand. she looked up at me,
and the tears was turned to stars.

To us,
there was no people around.
The music was as pure as the rain,
which fell in slow drops.

We both stared at each other,
and the music ended.
But we were still dancing,
With two hearts
In the same direction.

As we kiss,
I told her bow much she means to me.
But all fealings were being showed.
And I embrace an angel.

If only a dream could be so real,
To stand back and look at us.
How can you help but laugh,
and then have another dance.

Well I left that dance,
the chances are that these eyes,
Will never see her again.
and they never did.....

So now I stand and dance,
with another not unlike you.
So if I cross that bridge to you,
will there be one more kiss,
Waiting for me?
