Loving someone like you
had been a mystery to me.

You are so different from the rest,
that I could really see.

You were so true to me,
that I did not feel from others.

You bring out the worst in me,
that I tend to forget
that I am still human.

Yet, you still do bring the best
in me,
that I feel I am the only
person in this planet.

You are not afraid
of what you feel for me
no matter the endless battles
we have to face.

despite and inspite of
