30 Minutes
I only have thirty
What can I do with only thirty?
I must express it all with only thirty.
Tell about my trails and tribulations with just thirty.
Write about my perseverance with thirty.
Now it’s only twenty-seven and my mind is still in a muddle
I open my mouth but there is just now twenty-six and the clocks still tics

25 Minutes
Twenty-five and my audience is moving in discomfort
I begin to speak, “I’m only human.” Is my opening line
Twenty-four left and I feel shakes in my body as my temperature rises
I continue with my speech, “And as a human I make mistakes.”
The faces of the jury are ones with decisions already prepared
With twenty-three remaining, I questioned myself
“If I were not to make mistakes, than how will I become a man?”
Twenty-two to plead my case with tears being held back with what strength I had left.

20 Minutes
“Please I beg everyone here to understand, I am a victim to only myself.”
“I have suffered enough with my own guilt.”
Before I walked into this court room, I was guilty till proven different
“Okay, I did it!”
The courtroom went into a whirl
“Order, Order.”
