Seeing It






A glowing sunset reminds of death’s eternity. Or how
God light behind the eyes of starving child is righteous
Or that green life is like a soul found in a plant or tree.

Or how the drudge of rain washes the world clean.
How a bee and stinger ferries microscopic spiky pollen
To give its flowers life and color floating light.

How a screaming infant brings out tender joy and
Long-suffering parents create new generations’ love.
Politicians’ arguments spur the brilliant. Peaceful world

Ensuing creations of spirit follow dark night of the soul.
The sun like God so bright the light of it can blind.
