Attempts to move on, so called loves binding powers, fear, regret, and certainty intwined.
Im at the brink of utter ruin, set on display for the whole assembly,

As more pieces fall away my only concern is, "What will they think of me?"

A gleam in your eye pulls me in, like a moon drawn of blood,

I hear myself in your smiles reflection screaming, but not loud enough.

You use your words testing my strength but i dont want to pass,

For your compassion is nothing more than a razor that cuts to fast.

I'm running. Running. Always away.

Meek and compliant still afraid of yesterday.

Your wisper moves the trees, unheard, it's a voice I feel.

You put the weight on my shoulders, I'm about to drop the world, this time for real.

I know that the words going unsaid are meant to be your good bye.

But in all the world, in all my life, Good bye is the most frequent and largest lie.

I fall back into a shadow, my desperate reflection.

I'm spit out in an instant stung by my own regection.
