Free

The words drip from my lips,
pouring off my tongue,
draining from the thoughts within my mind
i release the caged bird from my soul
nothing holds me back now
i had always sealed everything inside me
today ive let it all go
ive let the humming bird free to sing
the eagle free to spread its wings and sore
the burden has been lifted and it feels good
im floating high into the heavens
not afraid to speak out
unafraid to live life for myself
a new woman , without fear to be alive.
