                                                    The Christmas Quilt

Couldn't we
Wrap ourselves up
In the Christmas quilt
And stay warm,
Merry and bright
Almost every day?
With a colorful
Patch of light
Hand-Sewn
To a sweet patch of kindness,
Bordered by
Magical patchwork of
Faith, family,
Friendship and love,
Wouldn't we
Thrive
In our peaceful cocoon?
Shouldn't we
Stay nestled in
Our perfect Christmas quilt
Stitched together with
A thread of miracles?
Why not?
Let's find a way.
Thank God for
The Christmas quilt.
