Spare A Moment

Please spare a moment, to cast a thought
Of all the wars that are being fought
Brave men and women stand and fight
To help our country with our plight
To rid the world of twisted pain
So terrorists and war lords will never reign
To the families these brave wave goodbye
To the silent tears and sobs that they cry
We salute you one and all
And pray each one will not fall
For those that fell and never came home
Gone, not forgotten and never alone
Watching down from heaven above
Flying high on the wings of a dove
One day we will reach a more peaceful time
Where love and respect replace all the crime
So please spare a moment to cast a thought
To all the brave out there who fight or have fought
