Slower or Faster

Fast or Slower

Grandpa has a riding mower
He cuts the grass so green
He can ride it fast or slower
But either way…it’s mean!

The blades are sharp!
The blades are fassst!
They chop and cut
The blades of grass

If that were all,
I’d be okay
But they chop other things
That get in the way

I’ve seen cute baby bunnies
Hopping round the parts
So I don’t get the funnies
When his lawn mower starts

I used to ride on Grandpas lap
Back and forth we’d go
Until, at once the truth I saw
And wished it wasn’t so

The mower had a “flicker-switch”
That made my eyes real runny
To think Grandpa could just mow-up
A “Turtle” or a “Bunny!”
