When man extends the boundaries of both conservative and liberal thought, creating an increasingly purer form of opposing fundamental consideration, the opposing ideologies pull at the heart of the respective dogma, drawing away its detractors from a truth that lies somewhere in the middle. No truth lies at the extreme ends of difference. The truth will lie at the core of conflicting philosophies. By taking a progressively greater conservative or liberal stance, one distances himself further from the truth and does so at great risk to all concerned, setting himself apart, creating an attraction that detaches himself from a common identity. This action distorts truth just like the stretching of a rubber band. Eventually, the rubber band will break creating a sudden and vast separation, leaving the truth, enigmatic and no longer accessible by either perspective.
