Friends

Friends may come and friends may go.
The best of them are the ones you still know.
Though some may be gone, they will never part.
You keep them close within your heart.
And the friends who still call, chat or write.
Just to say hi and see if you're all right.
These are the friends you must hold on to.
Through thick and thin they'll see you through.
And because you’re a good friend to them as well.
Where upon hard times they shall not dwell.
When they need someone to listen, they can count on you.
