Mistakes

They say during life mistakes, they happen,
But do people really understand.
With some mistakes people end up snappin,
When they all come in to land.

I've made mistakes both big and small,
Learning from them is what I must do.
These mistakes have caused my life to fall,
I now don't exist to quite a few.

I ended up loosing whats important in my life,
I hurt those I held dear.
I wanted to end it all by the blade of a knife,
I could'nt live with the shame and fear.

Now I try to rebuild, try to look ahead,
Trying t mend that broken bridge.
Now I've made it I must lie in my bed,
Its time to walk away from that ridge.
