Sometimes it take a painful journey to remind you of a happy ending...
Hello ve..

When I reminisce of you, I think of blissful times.

They said you'd never hurt me,

but every time I blurt those words of that sweet beginning and ending phrase,

I'm left with a silent response,

as your imagined lips softly whisper fading melodic tones,

like an unfinished bedtime fairy tale.

Hello ve..

I tell a tale of your exotic spell;

Of an enveloping cocoon of intimately suppressing ecstasy.

With fleeting thoughts of you next to me, connected only by our many unmanifested fantasies.

Ugly destines unlike Destiny's Child,

Has new faces changing places with the originality of what was once just you and me.

Could it be our ways display the forthcoming end,

To our downward spiraling tragedy of a play?

Hello ve..

I'm dismayed by emotions, of which I have no open remorse,

Yet I stand close-minded to consort with,

the tantalizing demons of hatred and envy,

who cause me to fear my physical reaction of attraction,

intoxicated by your sentilating scent of sensuality,

forever enticing me whenever I'm near thee.

Hello ve.. Am I guilty of a foresakened you?

Shoved faced down with the brutality of your beating asp black words,

Punishing me into a Rodney King type.

Can't we all just get along?

Like many sad songs sang by past ones,

wishing to eat from the once rich cookie crumble of their relationship's remains.

Pained in a pressurized space of repeated abuse,

suffused with a gift that only the divine one's power can hope to lift.

Yes this, my heart, has been pierced by Eros's devious arrow,

but amongst that bittersweet wound of yesterday,

Lie the flaying marks of an infidel's knife.

Hello ve..

Why strike from behind?

Did you not see I was equally blinded from the front of your fronting ways,

Giving you my every possible minute of every second day?

Yet I lay now, downed by my opponent's cunning ploy,

With joy once felt from hearing the sweet trickle of your name,

having frozen in the cold taste of late winter rain.

But I refrain from further torment,

For the past is only our present,The present only an alternate river,

A future continuing to flow into a new beginning.

But still one question remains in my puzzled state of mind.

As I look out into the foreign landscape that is you,

Do you in turn, gaze out back into me?

Hello ve... I remember you now..
