Snow

Snow falls down in sheets of white
covering everything in sight
the world's asleep under its blanket
and only the sun can come out and wake it
and when the snows gone the world comes alive
the flowers bloom and bees make their hive
but until then the snow will continue to swirl
until the warm spring winds begin to whirl
