Attraction

A tsunami of feelings washes over me.
As I look at you
and you look at me.
This attraction makes no logical sense.
It’s chemical-
don’t you see?
I move to touch you,
not sure if I should say anything.
Because now is not the time
to be conversating.
With a sensual touch of your hand,
and a passion filled kiss
from your oh so soft lips,
my knees start to shake and quiver.
My heart beats faster;
sending waves of pleasure with each
pit and patter.
Heat spreads thru my blood
as my temperature rises up.
Our eyes seek each other.
Silently asking,
what other wonders will our bodies discover?
Our hearts marching to a beat of a single drum,
and our bodies aching with anticipation
of what’s to come.
