Reborn...

Rain falls from the sky,
I have been in the dark for so long.
Close my eyes to feel the sorrow drown,
In the lasting showers of pure life.

There was a lot of pain in my life,
A lot of worry and fear for the past years.
Had grown old with tension and torture,
I had so long lived my life with fears...

I am now the butterfly out of its cocoon,
A beauty that breaks through the dark.
The strength grows within me,
With each drop of rain.

I open my eyes to see the clouds parting,
Showing the first rays of the evening sun.
A smile crosses my wrinkled face,
And now i know a new life has begun...
